Rodzaj Dermea utworzył Elias Fries w 1825 r. Gatunkiem typowym jest Dermea cerasi (Pers.) Fr. 1825[1]. Synonimy: Bulgariastrum Syd. & P. Syd., Cenangella Sacc., Dermatea Fr.[2] Rodzaje Dermea i Dermatea są w Index Fungforum traktowane jako synonimy, dla gatunków zachowano jednak odrębne nazwy.
