Diacyclops sororum – gatunek słodkowodnego widłonoga z rodziny Cyclopidae[1].

Gatunek ten opisała w 1992 roku amerykańska biolożka Janet W. Reid z Narodowego Muzeum Historii Naturalnej w Waszyngtonie (część Smithsonian Institution). Miejsce typowe to strumień Goose Creek(inne języki) w hrabstwie Loudoun w amerykańskim stanie Wirginia. Oprócz okazów typowych pozyskanych w sierpniu 1989 roku, autorka zaliczyła do gatunku także okaz muzealny – samicę odłowioną w styczniu 1952 roku w rzece Neches w stanie Teksas[2].

Etymologia: łac. soror „siostra”[2][3], w podzięce dla sióstr ze szkoły Notre Dame Academy za udostępnienie do badań terenu przy Goose Creek[2].
