Historia i charakter albumu
Album wydany już po śmierci artysty nagrany został z gościnnym udziałem Easy Mo Bee, który był producentem albumu. Doo-Bop jest zwrotem Davisa w kierunku muzyki hip-hopowej, wykorzystano w nim też technikę samplingu.
