Edward James Patten (ur. 22 sierpnia 1905 w Perth Amboy, zm. 17 września 1994 tamże[1]) – amerykański prawnik, polityk, członek Partii Demokratycznej.
Działalność polityczna
Od 1934 do 1940 był burmistrzem Perth Amboy. Od 1954 do 1962 był stanowym sekretarzem stanu New Jersey, a od 3 stycznia 1963 do 3 stycznia 1981 przez dziewięć kadencji przedstawicielem nowo utworzonego 15. okręgu wyborczego w stanie New Jersey w Izbie Reprezentantów Stanów Zjednoczonych[1][2].
