Elias Chauke (ur. 1972) - południowoafrykański seryjny morderca i gwałciciel, zwany Highwayman. Między październikiem a listopadem 2002 r. zamordował 5 kobiet.[1][2].

Zwabiał ofiary, obiecując im pomoc w znalezieniu pracy. Zabierał je w okolice autostrad, gdzie je gwałcił, dusił i porzucał.

Chauke został aresztowany dzięki badaniom DNA, które powiązały go z morderstwami. W trakcie śledztwa podejrzewano go zamordowanie 5 kolejnych kobiet w okolicach rzeki Riet. Odpowiedzialnym za te zbrodnie okazał się inny seryjny morderca, Richard Nyauza.[3]

We wrześniu 2004 r. Elias Chauke został skazany na karę dożywotniego więzienia.
