Farranula concinna – gatunek morskiego widłonoga z rodziny Corycaeidae[2]. Opisał go pomiędzy 1849 a 1852 rokiem amerykański zoolog James Dwight Dana, nadając mu nazwę Corycaeus concinnus[2][3]. Okazy typowe pozyskano w sierpniu 1839 roku na Pacyfiku w miejscu o współrzędnych 15°35′S 138°30′W/-15,583333 -138,500000; także w miejscu położonym około 250 mil na południe od Tongatapu (Tonga)[3].
