Flautando

Flautando (flautato) – technika artykulacyjna podczas gry na instrumentach smyczkowych polegająca na smyczkowaniu przez pocieranie struny za pomocą smyczka na tyle lekko, aby osiągnąć miękkie brzmienie podobne do barwy dźwięku fletu (stąd pochodząca z języka włoskiego nazwa flautando).

Osiągane jest najczęściej przez pochylenie smyczka tak, aby tylko część włosia miała kontakt ze strunami. Często dla uzyskania efektu flautando używa się dodatkowo techniki sul tasto. Niezamierzone flautando powstaje wskutek usztywnienia mięśni obręczy kończyny górnej instrumentalisty lub prowadzenia smyczka w stosunku do strun pod kątem innym niż prosty. Problemy te występują często u młodych muzyków i wymagają korekty aparatu gry

Flautando jest także oznaczeniem wykonawczym, umieszczanym w notacji muzycznej, nakazującym grę w ten właśnie sposób. Odwoływane jest przez ordinario.
