GX Guimarães – portugalski klub szachowy z siedzibą w Guimarães.
Historia
Klub został założony w październiku 1952 roku. Jego czołowymi zawodnikami byli Fernando Xavier, José Mota, João Sepúlveda i Santos Pinto. W 1953 roku zespół zdobył wicemistrzostwo regionu, ulegając w rozgrywkach jedynie GX Porto, natomiast w latach 1961–1964 wygrywał te rozgrywki[1]. W sezonie 1961 GX Guimarães zajął trzecie miejsce w mistrzostwach Portugalii, za SL Benfica i GX Alekhine. W następnym roku GX Guimarães został wicemistrzem kraju, kończąc rozgrywki za Sportingiem CP. W latach 1963–1965 zespół zajmował trzecie miejsce w mistrzostwach Portugalii[2]. W 1965 roku klub został rozwiązany[1].
