Gambit słonia C40
Gambit słonia – rzadko spotykane otwarcie szachowe, rozpoczynające się od posunięć:
- 1. e4 e5
- 2. Sf3 d5
białe chcąc osiągnąć przewagę, powinny grać 3.e:d5 co jest głównym wariantem systemu – jest to tzw. gambit słonia właściwy. Czarne mogą teraz odpowiedzieć 3...Gd6 lub 3...e4.
Nazwa gambit słonia pochodzi od dawnego określenia stosowanego dla gońca.
