HMS Ark Royal
HMS Ark Royal – nazwa noszona przez pięć okrętów brytyjskiej marynarki wojennej Royal Navy:
- Pierwszy „Ark Royal” – galeon, zbudowany jako „Ark Raleigh" w 1587, następnie zakupiony przez królową brytyjską, jako „Ark Royal” stał się okrętem flagowym floty angielskiej podczas walki z hiszpańską armadą w 1588. W 1608 przebudowany i przemianowany na "Anne Royal". Rozebrany w 1636.
- Drugi „Ark Royal” – transportowiec wodnosamolotów z lat 1914−1944, w 1934 przemianowany na HMS „Pegasus”
- Trzeci „Ark Royal” – lotniskowiec z lat 1938−1941, zatopiony przez okręt podwodny podczas II wojny światowej.
- Czwarty „Ark Royal” (R09) – lotniskowiec typu Audacious z lat 1955−1978.
- Piąty „Ark Royal” (R07) – lotniskowiec typu Invincible w służbie 1985−2010.
