HMS Perseus
HMS „Perseus” – nazwa noszona przez sześć okrętów brytyjskiej Royal Navy, pochodząca od Perseusza, bohatera mitologii greckiej[1]:
- HMS „Perseus” – 20-działowy okręt szóstej rangi (sixth rate) zwodowany w 1776, w 1799 przekształcony w okręt moździerzowy, złomowany w 1805.
- HMS „Perseus” – 22-działowy okręt szóstej rangi (sixth rate) zwodowany w 1812, w służbie portowej od 1818, złomowany w 1850.
- HMS „Perseus” – slup zwodowany w 1861, w służbie portowej od 1886, w 1904 przemianowany na HMS „Defiance II”, prawdopodobnie sprzedany w 1912.
- HMS „Perseus” – krążownik typu Pelorus zwodowany w 1897, sprzedany w 1914.
- HMS „Perseus” – okręt podwodny typu Parthian zwodowany w 1929, zatopiony przez minę w 1941.
- HMS „Perseus” – lotniskowiec typu Colossus zwodowany w 1944 jako HMS „Edgar”, w tym samym roku przemianowany na HMS „Perseus”, złomowany w 1958.
