Harmunit – bardzo rzadki minerał z gromady tlenków[1].
Właściwości
Krystalizuje w układzie rombowym[1]. Wykształca kryształy o pokroju pryzmatycznym[2]. Jest minerałem nieprzezroczystym o czarnej barwie[1][2].
Występowanie
Występuje w skałach pirometamorficznych larnitowych[1][2]. Towarzyszą mu głównie aragonit, mika, schorlomit, srebrodolskit, larnit, gehlenit, ternesyt, fluorellestadyt, magnezoferryt[1][2]. Spotykany jedynie w Niemczech (Nadrenia-Palatynat), Izraelu (Dystrykt Południowy), Palestynie (Zachodni Brzeg), Rosji i Polsce (okolice Wodzisławia)[1].
