Hartmann von Aue (Codex Manesse, ok. 1300)

Hartmann von Aue (ur. ok. 1160[1] – zm. po 1210) – pisarz i minnesinger średnio-wysoko-niemiecki[2][3].

Brał udział w wyprawie krzyżowej w roku 1197. W epopejach Erec (z ok. 1185) i Iwein (po 1200) wprowadził do Niemiec za wzorem Chrétiena de Troyes podanie o Arturze, w utworze Der arme Heinrich opracował podania rodzinne swego suwerena. W Gregorius stał się twórcą poezji nawiązującą do podań rycerskich[2]. Pisał też pieśni, niektóre z nich dotyczą wyprawy krzyżowej. Bűchlein to osobliwy, rymowany dialog pomiędzy Sercem i Ciałem.[4] Krytyczne wydanie zbiorowe opracował Fedor Bech (3 części 1891–1902), przekład niemiecki Armer Heinrich Simrocka (2 wyd. 1875).
