Hot Seven
Hot Seven – amerykańska grupa nagraniowa kierowana przez Louisa Armstronga, działająca w Chicago w 1927 jako rozszerzony skład zespołu Hot Five[1][2].
Grupa powstała przez dodanie do składu Hot Five tubisty Pete’a Briggsa i perkusisty Baby’ego Doddsa; w części nagrań jako ósmy muzyk uczestniczył także gitarzysta Lonnie Johnson[2]. W maju 1927 zespół nagrał jedenaście utworów jako Hot Seven. Do najwyżej cenionych nagrań tej formacji Grove Music Online zalicza „Wild Man Blues”, „Key Hole Blues” i „Potato Head Blues”[2].
