Joe Farrell, właśc. Joseph Carl Firrantello[1] (ur. 16 grudnia 1937 w Chicago Heights, Illinois, zm. 6 stycznia 1986 w Los Angeles, Kalifornia[1]) – amerykański wirtuoz saksofonu i flecista jazzowy.

W latach 60. Farrell grał razem z big bandem Thada Jonesa/Mela Lewisa. Jest najbardziej znany z gry na albumie Return to Forever z Chickiem Corea oraz z solowych albumów nagranych dla wytwórni CTI. Nagrywał również z takimi muzykami jak Charles Mingus, Andrew Hill, Jaki Byard czy Elvin Jones.

Do źródła swoich inspiracji zaliczał przede wszystkim Johna Coltrane'a.
