Charakterystyka
Grzyb entomopatogeniczny, pasożyt zewnętrzny owadów. Nie powoduje ich śmierci i wyrządza im niewielkie szkody[3]. W Polsce Tomasz Majewski opisał jego występowanie na gatunku chrząszcza Philonthus punctus z rodziny kusakowatych (Staphylidae)[2].
