Charakterystyka
Grzyb entomopatogeniczny, pasożyt zewnętrzny owadów. Nie powoduje śmierci owada i zazwyczaj wyrządza mu niewielkie szkody[4]. W Polsce Tomasz Majewski w 1994 r. opisał jego występowanie na chrząszczu Brachinus crepitans z rodziny biegaczowatych (Carabidae)[2].
