Letharia (Th. Fr.) Zahlbr. (jaskrota) – rodzaj grzybów z rodziny tarczownicowatych (Parmeliaceae)[1]. Ze względu na współżycie z glonami zaliczany jest do grupy porostów. W Polsce występuje jeden gatunek[2].
Systematyka i nazewnictwo
Pozycja w klasyfikacji według Index Fungorum: Parmeliaceae, Lecanorales, Lecanoromycetidae, Lecanoromycetes, Pezizomycotina, Ascomycota, Fungi[1].
W 1871 r. Theodor Magnus Fries utworzył takson Evernia subdiv. Letharia, w 1892 r. Alexander Zahlbruckner zamienił go na rodzaj Letharia[3] Synonimy nazwy naukowej: Chlorea Nyl., Evernia subdiv. Letharia Th. Fr., Nylanderaria Kuntze, Rhytidocaulon Nyl. ex Elenkin[3]. Nazwa polska według Wiesława Fałtynowicza[4].
