Mario Streit (ur. 14 kwietnia 1967 w Rathenow[1]) – niemiecki wioślarz reprezentujący NRD, srebrny medalista olimpijski.
Kariera
Wystąpił na igrzyskach olimpijskich w Seulu w 1988, gdzie wspólnie z Detlefem Kirchhoffem i René Renschem zdobył srebrny medal w dwójkach ze sternikiem. W finale o 1,84 sekundy przegrali z Włochami, a o 1,32 sekundy wyprzedzili osadę Wielkiej Brytanii[2]. Był to jego jedyny start olimpijski.
W tej samej konkurencji był też czwarty na mistrzostwach świata w Kopenhadze (1987) i mistrzostwach świata w Bledzie (1989). Walkę o podium osada NRD przegrała odpowiednio z osadą Rumunii oraz osadą Jugosławii. Ponadto Streit zdobył złote medale w czwórkach ze sternikiem na mistrzostwach świata juniorów w Jönköping (1984) i mistrzostwach świata juniorów w Brandenburgu (1985)[3].
W 1988 został odznaczony Srebrnym Orderem Zasługi dla Ojczyzny[4].
