Phlebotominae – podrodzina muchówek należąca do ćmiankowatych (Psychodidae). Obejmuje ona ponad 1000 gatunków, z których około 100 są stwierdzonymi wektorami patogenów chrobotwórczych m.in. pierwotniaka Leishmania donovani, powodującego leiszmaniozę, bakterię Bartonella bacilliformis, wywołującą chorobę Carrióna oraz licznych arbowirusów. Phlebotominae występują głównie w klimacie tropikalnym i subtropikalnym. Podobnie jak pozostałe ćmiankowate są to niewielkie (2-4 mm), gęsto oszczecinione muchówki. Samice są hematofagiczne, żywią się krwią wielu grup kręgowców tj. ssaków (w tym ludzi), gadów gadów czy ptaków. Samce odżywiają się nektarem i innymi płynami pochodzenia roślinnego. Larwy rozwijają się w wilgotnym piasku, mule, rumoszu skalnym, a także norach gryzoni i jaszczurek.
