Muhammad Muhakik – afgański polityk, minister planowania, kandydat na urząd prezydenta Afganistanu w wyborach w 2004.
Życiorys
Podczas radzieckiej interwencji uczestniczył w walkach przeciwko wojskom radzieckim, w późniejszym okresie należał do Sojuszu Północnego. Po upadku władzy talibów objął stanowisko ministra planowania[1].
W 2004 roku jako kandydat niezależny wziął udział w wyborach prezydenckich. Otrzymał 935 325 głosów, stanowiących 11,7% wszystkich oddanych głosów[2], co dało mu trzecie miejsce za Hamidem Karzajem i Junusem Kanunim[3]. W następnym roku uzyskał mandat w ramach wyborów parlamentarnych, zostając deputowanym do Izby Ludowej[4].
