Utwory z płyty pochodzą z sesji nagraniowej do poprzedniego albumu zespołu, Fear of a Blank Planet.[1] Początkowo album był dystrybuowany wyłącznie przez sklep internetowy zespołu.[6] Autorem oprawy graficznej albumu jest Lasse Hoile.[7]
