Nofret – starożytna Egipcjanka żyjąca w okresie panowania IV dynastii, żona Rahotepa. W 1871 roku jej posąg o wysokości 122 cm został odkryty przez francuskiego archeologa Auguste’a Mariette’a[1]. Rzeźbę włączono następnie do zbiorów Muzeum Egipskiego w Kairze[2], a jej wizerunek wykorzystano na znaczkach pocztowych wydanych w Egipcie[3] i Zjednoczonych Emiratach Arabskich[4].
