Olten – miasto i gmina w północnej Szwajcarii, w kantonie Solura, w jednostce administracyjnej (Amtei) Olten-Gösgen, siedziba administracyjna okręgu Olten. Leży nad rzeką Aare. Ośrodek przemysłowy (przemysł maszynowy, środków transportu, chemiczny i cementowy). W pobliżu Olten usytuowana jest elektrownia wodna na rzece Aare.
