Oslo Vest – norweski klub szachowy z siedzibą w Oslo.

Historia

Początki klubu sięgają założonej w 2001 roku grupy Bergen 4[1], stanowiącej część szachistów Bergens SK. W 2006 roku norweska federacja szachowa dokonała zmian w systemie drużynowych mistrzostw kraju, tworząc ligę pod nazwą Eliteserien[2]. Regulamin zabraniał uczestnictwa w tej lidze dwóch drużyn należących do tego samego klubu. W związku z tym należący do Bergen 4 szachiści uniezależnili się od Bergens SK i powołali klub pod nazwą Oslo Vest. Ta drużyna wygrała w 2006 roku kwalifikacje do Eliteserien[3]. W inauguracyjnym sezonie Eliteserien zespół zajął szóste miejsce[4]. Sezon 2007/2008 Oslo Vest ukończyło na trzecim miejscu w krajowych rozgrywkach, za Oslo SS i SK1911[5]. Jednym z zawodników tamtej drużyny był Espen Agdestein[6]. W kolejnym sezonie drużyna Oslo Vest zajęła siódmą pozycję w lidze[7]. W 2010 roku zespół zajął dziewiąte miejsce w Eliteserien i spadł z ligi. Następnie został rozwiązany[1].
