Rodzaj Parmularia utworzył Joseph Henri Léveillé w 1846 r. Gatunkiem typowym jest Parmularia styracis Lév. 1846[1]. Synonimy: Clypeum Massee, Pycnographa Müll. Arg., Schneepia Speg.[3] Gatunki występujące w Polsce:
- Parmularia demissa (Flot.) Croz. 1924 – tzw. jaskrawiec misecznicowy, misecznica zaniedbana[4]
