Taksonomia
Rodzaj opisany został przez Edmonda Jean-Baptiste Fleutiaux w 1929 roku. Gatunkiem typowym jest P. tenuicornis[1].
Występowanie
Wszystkie należące tu gatunki są endemitami Madagaskaru[1][2].
