Wczesne lata
Urodził się jako syn Waltera Bergmana, amerykańskiego oficera Marynarki Wojennej Stanów Zjednoczonych[2]. Przez rok pracował w budownictwie, aby zarobić pieniądze na studia w The American Academy of Dramatic Arts w Nowym Jorku[3].
Kariera
W 1979 roku jako dr Cliff Warner dołączył do obsady opery mydlanej ABC Wszystkie moje dzieci (All My Children), a rolę grał przez 10 lat; od 1979 do 1987 i 1988-89.
