Rodzaj Pezizella utworzył Leopold Fuckel w 1870 r. Gatunkiem typowym jest Pezizella sordida[1]. Nazwa polska według Wiesława Fałtynowicza[2]. W edycji CABI databases w 2022 r. rodzaj Pezizella Fuckel został uznany za synonim rodzaju Calycina[3].
