Plaxiscelis plebeja – gatunek pluskwiaka z podrzędu różnoskrzydłych i rodziny wtykowatych.

Gatunek ten opisany został po raz pierwszy w 1860 roku przez Carla Ståla na łamach „Öfversigt af Kongliga Svenska Vetenskaps-Akademiens Förhandlingar”. Jako miejsce typowe wskazano Brazylię[1][2].

Pluskwiak o ciele długości od 12 do 16 mm i szerokości od 4 do 5 mm. Ogólne ubarwienie ma jasnoszarożółte, z wierzchu ciemniejsze niż na spodzie, z ciemnym punktowaniem[1]. Człony czułków trzeci i czwarty są u niego żółte w nasadowej trzeciej części, a rudobrązowe w częściach pozostałych – ich dwubarwność wyróżnia gatunek na tle całego rodzaju[3]. Na głowie znajdują się dwie czarne przepaski podłużne. Bokami tułowia biegną rozmyte, krwistoczerwone, czarno nakrapiane przepaski boczne. Zakrywka jest ciemna. Odnóża mają uda nieco u szczytów przyciemnione. Tylne golenie i stopy są ciemno ubarwione[1].

Owad neotropikalny, południowoamerykański, endemiczny dla Brazylii[2][4].
