Prevotella – rodzaj beztlenowych[1.1] bakterii Gram-ujemnych. Do rodzaju należą polimorficzne pałeczki, których wzrost jest hamowany w obecności 20% żółci. Wchodzą w skład mikroflory jamy ustnej. Są wykrywane w kale człowieka[1.2]
