Prokne (gr. Πρόκνη Próknē) – w mitologii greckiej żona Tereusa, króla Daulis w Fokidzie, matka Itysa, siostra Filomeli.
Tereus uwiódł Filomelę i uciął jej język, aby o zdradzie nie dowiedziała się Prokne. Filomela utkała peplos, w którego deseniu umieściła słowa – klucz, dzięki którym Prokne dowiedziała się o losie siostry. W zemście obydwie zabiły małego Itysa i podały go jako potrawę Tereusowi. Oszalały z gniewu król ścigał je, by zabić. Kiedy w rozpaczy błagały bogów o ratunek, ci wysłuchali ich i dopomogli uniknąć gniewu Tereusa, zamieniając je w ptaki: Prokne zamieniona została w słowika, a Filomela w jaskółkę. Natomiast Tereusa zamieniono w dudka.
