Ronald Douglas Lawrence (ur. 12 września 1921, zm. 27 listopada 2003) – kanadyjski pisarz i przyrodnik.
Życiorys
Urodził się na statku w Zatoce Biskajskiej u wybrzeży Hiszpanii 12 września 1921 roku. Do Kanady przyjechał w roku 1954.
Pisał głównie na tematy związane z przyrodą i zwyczajami zwierząt. Opisywał głównie zwierzęta zamieszkujące odludne lasy północnej Kanady. Jego książki były publikowane w 26 krajach.
Zmarł na chorobę Alzheimera 27 listopada 2003 roku w hrabstwie Haliburton w Ontario.
