Historia
Gmina została po raz pierwszy wspomniana w dokumentach w 1798 roku jako Rungal[2].
Demografia
W Rongellen 31 grudnia 2020 mieszkało 56 osób[3]. W 2020 roku 8,9% populacji gminy stanowiły osoby urodzone poza Szwajcarią[4].
W 2000 roku 88,7% populacji mówiło w języku niemieckim[5], a 9,4% w języku romansz[5].
Transport
