Rover P6 – samochód osobowy klasy wyższej średniej produkowany w latach 1963–1977 pod brytyjską marką Rover.
Opis i historia
P6 został zapowiedziany w 1963 roku[1]. W ofercie brytyjskiej marki zastąpił on model P5[1]. Auto różniło się nazwą w zależności od wersji silnikowej. Bazowy model 2000 posiadał silnik R4 o pojemności 2.0 l i mocy od 100 do 110 KM[2]. Wersję tę produkowano do 1973 roku. W 1968 roku zadebiutował mocniejszy model 3500 z silnikiem 3.5 l V8[3]. Ostatnim wariantem był Rover 2200, który miał premierę w 1973 roku[4]. Wersja ta zastąpiła Rovera 2000. Oba warianty P6 produkowano do roku 1977. Następcą samochodu został Rover SD1[1].
W 1964 roku Rover P6 stał się pierwszym samochodem, który otrzymał nagrodę Europejskiego Samochodu Roku[5].
