Samuel Palache – kupiec, dyplomata oraz korsarz żydowskiego pochodzenia, będący na usługach sułtana Maroka Zidana Abu Maaliego; jako wysłannik do stadhoudera księcia Maurycego Orańskiego zainicjował pierwszą w historii umowę o współpracy, między państwem muzułmańskim a chrześcijańskim.
