Sauron Defeated („Sauron pokonany“) – wydana w 1992 roku dziewiąta część Historii Śródziemia. Jest także ostatnią z czterech części, opisujących wczesną wersję powieści Władca Pierścieni. Nie została przetłumaczona na język polski.
Książka składa się z trzech części. The End of the Third Age pokazuje pierwsze wersje ostatnich rozdziałów Powrotu króla. The Notion Club Papers to nieukończona powieść z motywem podróży w czasie, będąca wariacją na temat angielskich legend. Natomiast The Drowning of Anadûnê przedstawia różne wersje upadku Númenoru[1].
