Sombr, właśc. Shane Michael Boose[1] (ur. 5 lipca 2005 w Nowym Jorku) – amerykański piosenkarz, autor tekstów i producent muzyczny[2].
Życiorys
W 2021 roku wydał swój debiutancki singiel „Nothing Left to Say”, a w 2023 roku swoją pierwszą EP-kę In Another Life nakładem Warner Records i własnego wydawnictwa SMB[1][3]. Uczęszczał do LaGuardia High School na kierunek wokalny, ale przerwał naukę po wydaniu piosenki „Caroline” w czerwcu 2022[4].
W 2025 roku single Sombra „Back to Friends” i „Undressed” zyskały popularność na TikToku i dotarły do pierwszej dwudziestki listy Billboard Global 200 i do pierwszej czterdziestki listy Hot 100.[5][6] Oba utwory uplasowały się w pierwszej dziesiątce list przebojów w szeregu państw. W 2025 Sombr wydał debiutancki album studyjny I Barely Know Her (2025), na którym znalazły się dwa poprzednie single, a także kolejne single „We Never Dated” i „12 to 12”[7]. Podczas gali MTV Video Music Awards 2025 Sombr został nominowany w trzech kategoriach, w tym w kategorii Najlepszy nowy artysta, a za utwór „Back to Friends” zdobył nagrodę w kategorii Najlepszy teledysk alternatywny[8].
