Sospita – rodzaj chrząszczy z rodziny biedronkowatych (Coccinellidae).
Występowanie
Zakres występowania dołęgi (S. vigintiguttata), będącej jedyną żyjącą współcześnie przedstawicielką rodzaju, obejmuje wyłącznie Europę, z wyjątkiem jej południowej części, północnej Fennoskandii oraz Wysp Brytyjskich[1][2].
S. haagi jest gatunkiem kopalnym, a jej szczątki odkryto w datowanych na szat (późny oligocen) złożach węgla brunatnego leżących nieopodal miasta Hennef w niemieckim Siedmiogórzu[3].
