Statyw
Statyw – podstawa zapewniająca stabilizację mocowanego na niej przedmiotu lub urządzenia. Statyw może być rozumiany w znaczeniu ogólniejszym lub węższym jako
- stojak, podstawa (np. statyw laboratoryjny do próbówek)
- trójnóg, zwykle zakończony ruchomą głowicą umożliwiającą równoczesne operowanie mocowanym przyrządem i jego stabilizację. Położenie każdej nogi statywu może być regulowane niezależnie, co umożliwia jego pionowe ustawienie w nierównym terenie. Dodatkowo często nogi składają się teleskopowo, co ułatwia jego ustawienie oraz transport. Tego rodzaju statywy znalazły zastosowanie w:
- fotografii m.in. (statyw fotograficzny)
- technice operatorskiej
- w technice pomiarowej (m.in. w geodezji)
- w technice wojskowej jako podstawa broni
