Od 21 grudnia 2020 miejscowość posiada połączenia tunelem Eysturoy z największą i najludniejszą wyspą Streymoy oraz z miejscowością Rókin leżącą na tej samej wyspie, oddzieloną fiordem Skálafjørður[2].
