TX1 – samochód osobowy typu hackney carriage produkowany w latach 1997–2002 pod brytyjską marką LTI.
Historia i opis
LTI TX1 zadebiutowało w 1997 roku jako następca przestarzałego już wówczas Austina FX4. Za projekt pojazdu odpowiedzialny był Kenneth Grange[1]. Nadwozie zachowało duże podobieństwo do wcześniejszego auta, ale zostało wyraźnie zaoblone i unowocześnione. Wśród nowości w aucie wymienić można silnik TD27 Nissana oraz wsparcie dla technologii płatniczej Cabvision[2][3]. Produkcję modelu TX1 zakończono w 2002 roku, a jego następcą zostało LTI TXII.
