Talking Heads – amerykańska grupa rockowa powstała ok. 1974/1975 roku[1][2]. Między wydaniem pierwszego albumu w 1977 roku a ostatnim w 1988 roku Talking Heads stał się jednym z najbardziej cenionych przez krytyków zespołów lat 80., jednocześnie notując na swoim koncie kilka popowych hitów. Począwszy od drugiego albumu, More Songs About Buildings and Food z 1978 roku zespół rozpoczął współpracę z producentem Brianem Eno. Współpraca ta osiągnęła szczyt w 1980 roku przy realizacji albumu Remain in Light. W 1991 roku Talking Heads rozpadł się, ale jego członkowie nadal ze sobą współpracują w innych projektach muzycznych (Tom Tom Club, The Heads)[1].

W 2002 roku zespół został wprowadzony do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame[2].
