Telesilla

Telesilla (stgr. Τελέσιλλα, koniec VI wieku p.n.e.) – grecka poetka z Argos.

W starożytności uważana za jedną z 9 najważniejszych poetek. Była autorką hymnów ku czci Apollona, Artemidy i Demeter. W lokalnej tradycji uchodziła za obrończynię Argos podczas najazdu Spartan pod wodzą Kleomenesa (w wojnie 520-493 p.n.e.). Od jej imienia pochodzi nazwa jednej z miar wierszowych – telesíllejonu[1].
