Texas Lutheran University – amerykańska luterańska uczelnia założona w 1891 roku w Brenham, przeniesiona do Seguin.
Historia
Uczelnia została założona w 1891 roku pod nazwą Evangelical Lutheran College of Brenham, w 1909 roku przekształcona w Evangelical Lutheran Proseminary of Brenham. Po trzech latach placówkę przeniesiono do Seguin, gdzie działała jako akademia; w 1932 roku uczelnia przyjęła nazwę Texas Lutheran College[1].
W 1940 roku Texas Lutheran College dołączył do Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Według danych z 1983 roku w uczelni pracowały 152 osoby (z czego 56 wykładowców pracowało na pełen etat), natomiast majątek placówki wynosił ponad 26 mln dolarów. W 1996 roku nazwę uczelni po raz kolejny przemianowano, tym razem na Texas Lutheran University[1].
