Thorichthys – rodzaj słodkowodnych ryb okoniokształtnych z rodziny pielęgnicowatych (Cichlidae). Z wyjątkiem Thorichthys callolepis gatunki zaliczane do tego rodzaju charakteryzują się obecnością na wieczku skrzelowym czarnej plamy imitującej oko[3].
