Tremo
Tremo (fr. trumeau) – wysokie lustro, często sięgające od sufitu do podłogi lub połączone z konsolą[1]. Zazwyczaj prostokątne, wstawiane nad kominkiem lub pomiędzy oknami. Zapoczątkowane zostały w XVIII w. we Francji, jego nazwa pochodzi od francuskiego słowa trumeau[2].
Historia
Pierwsze lustra tremo zaczęły powstawać w XVIII w. we Francji. Pierwotnie wstawiane były w drewnianą okładzinę tzw. boazerię pomiędzy drzwiami lub oknami. Z uwagi na wysoki koszt szkła, te stosowano głównie w zamożniejszych domach[3].
