Historia
Pod koniec lutego 2026 roku rosyjski koncern technologiczny Yandex ogłosił wkroczenie do branży motoryzacyjnej poprzez nowo powstałą markę UMO[1]. Została ona skierowana do firm zajmujących się przewozem osób, koncentrując się na Moskwie i Petersburgu. Pierwszy model UMO, elektryczny crossover UMO 5, powsał w ramach kooperacji z chińskim koncernem motoryzacyjnym GAC Group. W rezultacie zapożyczono z jego portfolio model Aion Y Plus[2], który zyskał inne logotypy i trafił do lokalnej produkcji w moskiewskich zakładach Moskwicza tuż po inauguracji firmy UMO z końcem lutego 2026[3].
