USS Tulsa
Okręty US Navy o nazwie USS „Tulsa”, pochodzącej od miasta Tulsa:
- Pierwszy „Tulsa” (PG-22) był kanonierką, która służyła podczas II wojny światowej. Okręt został przyjęty do służby 3 grudnia 1923 i przemianowany na „Tacloban” 18 grudnia 1944. Został wycofany ze służby 6 marca 1946. [1]
- Nazwa USS „Tulsa” (CA-129) została przeznaczona 27 listopada 1944 ciężkiemu krążownikowi typu Oregon City, budowanemu w stoczni Fore River w Quincy (Massachusetts) należącej do Bethlehem Steel. 12 sierpnia 1945 zanim położono stępkę okrętu, kontrakt na budowę został anulowany.
- Drugi „Tulsa” (LCS-16) jest okrętem walki przybrzeżnej typu Independence, wcielonym do służby w 2019 roku.
