Kariera

Doświadczony i silny, mierzący 2,04 m wzrostu, Helmanis jest kluczowym koszykarzem w narodowej reprezentacji Łotwy od początku lat 90. Helmanis został krajowym mistrzem w trzech krajach, w których grał: na Łotwie, w Polsce i w Niemczech.
